MARÉ Surf Club — Online 3D surfing game

Your first wave

MARÉ Surf Club is an indie 3D surfing game with a cozy coastal world. Play through the browser on a computer or phone. Choose a surfer, collect a board from the kiosk and wax its deck before entering the sea. Follow the tutorial to learn paddling, catching a wave and steering along its face.

Practice bottom turns, cutbacks, barrels and aerials using keyboard or touch controls. Start with a small goal: finish one ride and describe what you learned. Controls and available features may evolve during development.

Explore beyond the surf

Visit the coastal village between rides. The current project includes shops, shells, stickers, board crafting and travel by bike or other vehicles. Seven surf spots take artistic inspiration from real beaches; the coast is an imagined world rather than an exact geographic reconstruction.

Is MARÉ a surfing MMO?

MARÉ currently offers an experimental online room with up to 32 people per instance. Choose the same room name to try a shared session. It is not a released persistent MMO: cross-instance scale, economy validation and moderation operations remain development work.

You can also play on this device without an account. Account and cloud-save options are described inside the game. Keep your recovery code; email-based recovery is not currently promised.

Browser or Android?

Browser play and the installable web app are public access options. The official Android download is a test APK distributed by the project. It is not a public Google Play release. Use the download page to check the current version and installation instructions.
